Classes, Reservations, Cancellations & Refunds
These terms apply to programs operated by the registered business 더글로벌요리학원, represented by 이진주, including its brand The Global Cooking Studio Busan. The studio is not a separate registered company. Online reservation intake is currently unavailable. Please confirm each program’s schedule, tuition, and applicable conditions before applying.
Article 1. Scope
These terms apply to culinary certification courses, general cooking education, and cooking classes and experiences offered under The Global Cooking Studio brand by 더글로벌요리학원. Applicable laws and specific conditions may vary according to the actual nature of each program.
Article 2. Enrollment and reservation requests
When online reservation requests become available, submitting one will be a request, not a confirmed booking. Staff will check the schedule and availability and contact the applicant individually. A reservation is confirmed only when the academy expressly confirms it. An inquiry or application alone does not reserve a seat.
Article 3. Tuition and payment
This website does not provide online payment. Tuition is paid on site or by bank transfer as instructed by the academy. Tuition, ingredient charges, and any additional costs will be disclosed before application or payment.
Article 4. Changes and cancellations
Please call 010-2222-8301 to request a change or cancellation. Requests will be handled under the laws applicable to the program and lawful conditions disclosed in advance.
Article 5. Tuition returns and refunds
Programs governed by Korea’s Act on the Establishment and Operation of Private Teaching Institutes and Extracurricular Lessons and its Enforcement Decree follow the statutory tuition-refund standards. For a teaching period of one month or less, the general standards where a learner discontinues attendance are: • Before teaching begins: a full refund of tuition and applicable charges already paid. • Before one-third of the total teaching hours has elapsed: two-thirds refunded. • From the one-third threshold until before one-half has elapsed: one-half refunded. • Once one-half has elapsed: no refund under this standard. For teaching periods longer than one month, a full refund applies before teaching begins. After teaching begins, the applicable refund for the month in which the reason for a refund arises is added to the full tuition and applicable charges for the remaining months, in accordance with the statutory standard. If the academy cannot provide teaching for reasons attributable to it, the applicable statutory refund rules apply. Cancellation and refund standards for one-day experiences and short studio programs will be confirmed according to their actual legal classification and disclosed before booking confirmation or payment. These terms do not restrict consumer rights guaranteed by law.
Article 6. Practical-class safety and hygiene
Students and participants must follow the instructor’s safety and hygiene guidance during class. Please contact the academy before class about food allergies or other matters that may affect participation.
